09 per hour (B21 Step 1-14 DOQ AFSCME 87-Master Courthouse) Yakima County District Court is recruiting to fill a Financial Specialist position.
Position may perform a variety of duties to include (a) specialized in-court office support activities involving courtroom processes; (b) client services and case management relating to financial obligations owed to District Court and Probation Services; (c) office support duties such as preparation and distribution of bench warrants, scheduling of District Court infraction hearings, preparation and distribution of legal documents; data entry into DISCIS computer system, scanning and indexing, responding to or routing telephone inquiries and records maintenance.
Training may be required at alternative work locations.
Education and
Experience:
High School Diploma or G.
E.
D.
and three years of clerical and/or financial training/experience beyond high school including six months in area of specialty; or any combination of experience or training which provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
