How You'll Perform the Role We are looking for a pricing analyst to help us increase our business competitiveness and profitability.
This is a utility role where you will have the opportunity to partner closely with our internal Rebates and Pricing teams to learn two key functional areas while helping us to collaboratively achieve our corporate objectives.
Some of the core functions of the role:
Running monthly, quarterly and annual rebate reports, as well as ad hoc sales & rebate reports as business requirements dictate.
Includes updating the rebate systems with new programs, corrections and/or program changes.
Auditing, calculating, processing and tracking rebate payments.
Work closely with the Sales and legal teams to ensure contract compliance, accuracy and on-time delivery of all program payments.
Working closely with the Accounting functions to research, audit and assist in the resolution of customer payment deductions.
Working with Sales team to determine market prices based on market pricing knowledge, internal benchmark price comparisons and profitability analysis.
Prepare profitability analyses, benchmark price comparisons, research costing issues.
Gathering information and developing an understanding of market conditions, competitors and competitive pricing activity.
Analyze customer potential and strategic importance, production and distribution costs as well as the corporate impact of the profit/loss volume trade-off.
Understand raw material markets and resulting internal cost implications.
Determine the impact of raw material increases to customer base.
Work closely with Legal Department to build customer contracts with relevant commercial data - evaluate/revise language regarding price escalation/de-escalation, rebates/incentives and floor stocking/inventory requirements.
Track and evaluate quote activity and win/loss analytics.
Create and manage customer inventory (floor stocking) agreements.
Pricing contract renewals and price increase evaluations and executionAdditional projects, including new software implementations and other special projects in support of the Rebates & Pricing functions.
What We Need From YouExcellent interpersonal and communication skills including presentation skills and the ability to effectively communicate with management, and internal and external customers.
Exemplary analytical skills with the ability to accumulate, organize and assimilate large amounts of information.
Strong experience / advanced knowledge of Excel.
Experience with ERP reporting systems preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting preferred, and two to five years' related experience.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
