Compensation & HRIS Analyst

Responsible for leading the planning, design and administration of base pay, incentive compensation and bonus programs for all Non-providers.
Leads market analysis and accumulation of relevant performance management data.
Responsible for regulatory compliance and data integrity.
Collaborates with partners and cross-functional teams across YVFWC to ensure effectiveness of compensation programs.
$31-$39/hour DOE with ability to go higher for highly experienced candidates.
This is a Relief (on-call) position.
Utilized as-needed with no guarantee of hours.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities/Duties Coordinates with the Director of Compensation in the administration of compensation strategies and plans designed to incentivize performance and align Non-Provider compensation with group and organization goals.
Participates in compensation program design, market analysis, and policy documentation.
Assists with responses to all day-to-day non-provider compensation requests including but not limited to orientation, questions about the plans, and reviewing specific situations and administering corrections if necessary.
Partners with the Director of Compensation to revise and enhance Non-Provider incentive and bonus programs that drive performance and are scalable for the organization.
Prepares and presents all required Non-Provider compensation and production data.
Communicates findings and recommendations to executives through the use of presentation materials and detailed analysis.
Communicates with the Non-Provider staff to ensure they are well informed about the compensation elements in their respective compensation plans.
Drafts all management and staff member communication related to non-Provider compensation plans.
Review's data and submits recommendations to the Director of Compensation related to Non-Provider Compensation policies, processes, and procedures to ensure each non-Provider compensation program is efficient, transparent, internally equitable, consistently applied, and compliant with government regulations.
Extracts and manages performance data relative to Non-Provider compensation to enable payments that aligns with the established Non-Provider contract arrangements.
Updates all relevant communication materials related to Non-Provider's compensation plans, including plan summary handouts.
Coordinates with the Director of Compensation on all rollout presentations with updates on Non-Provider compensation plans.
Coordinate all Non-Provider market data gathering activities with external compensation consultants.
Solicits market data from them when requested.
Coordinate and communicate with all YVFWC departments regarding the results of market data and recommends wage structure placement of adjustments to placement in grade.
Responds to requests for:
Non-standard pay increases; Equity reviews; 3rd and 4th Quartile Pay Offers; Pay recommendations due to change of status form processing; Market Reviews; Job Description Revisions; New Job Description Requests; Pay Grade Updates; Offer Builder Updates; Temp Assignments; Projects as assigned - (Job Descriptions, JDXpert, FLSA).
Collaborates with the Recruiting Department on determination of placement within the pay grade for new hires.
Works with the Compensation Analyst I to prepare and maintain job descriptions for each position in the organization; ensures descriptions accurately reflect the work being performed by incumbents.
Interviews and surveys employees and managers to gather and document job, organizational, and occupational information including duties, responsibilities, and skills required by each job.
Assesses jobs and their respective duties to determine classification as exempt or nonexempt and appropriate salary range.
Prepares and presents summary reports of job analysis and compensation analysis information.

Responsibilities:
Coordinates with Compensation Analyst III to complete FLSA audits on positions to determine exempt status.
Coordinates with the Director of Compensation to evaluate and implement job analysis instruments and materials.
Advises management on applicable state and federal employment regulations, and compensation policies and human resource procedures.
Coordinates with the Compensation Analyst III to learn certain aspects of the Provider Compensation program and act as a backup in the Compensation Analyst III's absence.
Other duties as needed.
Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Computer Science, Finance, or Mathematics or Statistics.
Associate's Degree and two additional years of relevant experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.
High School Diploma or GED and four additional years of relevant experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.
Master's Degree preferred.
Experience:
Three years of progressively responsible experience in compensation working with complex variable and fixed compensation plans.
This requirement includes one year of data reporting and analytics experience.
Or A Master's Degree in Business Administration or Human Resources with an emphasis in Compensation and one year's experience in compensation may be substituted.
Licenses/Certificates/Registration:
Current Washington State driver license and proof of automobile liability insurance coverage.
Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required:
Knowledge of principles, practices, and methods related to compensation best practice including multiple compensation concepts and systems.
Knowledge of principles, practices, and methods related to human services management.
Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws, standards and requirements related to human resource and compensation programs.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, including efficiency in public speaking situations.
Ability to manage and lead special projects from inception through completion.
Skills in problem-solving, sound judgement, and conflict resolution.
Strong organization skills.
Ability to prioritize work and handle a variety of tasks simultaneously.
Effective verbal, written and listening communication skills with individuals and groups.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff at all corporate levels.
Intermediate proficiency with a variety of computer programs including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Basic proficiency with database program like Access preferred.
Knowledge of survey design and collection.
Strong analytical skills to interpret survey data.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
