Avamere at Yakima - 3710 Kern Road, Yakima, WA 98902 The primary responsibility of this position is to assist with preparing and serving meals to residents in a timely manner and assist the kitchen staff with cleaning at the end of each meal.
Responsibilities:
Setup meal trays, food carts and the dining room Ensure that food, menus and supplies for the next meal are readily available Assist in daily cleaning duties, such as worktables and areas, refrigerators, etc.
Retrieve dishes from the dining room, wash, and clean utensils, and return them to their proper storage areas Keep work areas clean, dry, and free of hazardous materials Assist Cooks in preparing meals Maintain confidentiality of all resident care in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
Qualifications:
Must have a food handlers' card Experience in a hospital, nursing facility, or other related medical facility preferred Must have knowledge of sanitation and food safety procedures and rules Ability to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination preferred, but not required Employee Perks:
