variable_ Position Summary The pharmacy assistant is responsible for performing pharmacy assistant duties consistent with Washington State Law, as well as, clerical and computer tasks for pharmacy management.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES 1.
Assists the pharmacy with overall operations.
2.
Assists in maintaining the pharmacy in a neat and orderly condition.
3.
Pulls and organizes pharmacy restocking supplies and medications.
4.
Provides support, positive feedback, and constructive comments to volunteers on a continuous basis.
5.
Communicates effectively with departments that utilize the clinic or pharmacy services.
6.
Through attitude and example, demonstrates support of change in the continual evaluation and implementation of ways to improve the organization's performance and achievement of strategic objectives.
7.
Familiarizes self with the practice of pharmacy and participates in educational opportunities to expand and improve job knowledge and skills.
8.
Utilizes supplies and equipment adequately but not excessively.
9.
Learns how to prioritize department workload in order to work more efficiently.
10.
Follows hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
11.
An active ingredient in the efforts to improve our community's well-being.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS Education:
High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
Experience:
Previous pharmacy experience preferred.
Licenses/Certificates/Registration:
Washington State (DOH) Pharmacy Assistant licensure required.

skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
