You will be responsible for coordinating and directing the activities of production employees to ensure efficient production processes and high-quality output.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of production procedures.
Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and production schedules.
Monitor production processes to identify areas for improvement and implement measures to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Train new employees in production procedures, equipment operation, and safety guidelines.
Evaluate employee performance and provide feedback, coaching, and disciplinary action when necessary.
Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance, quality assurance, and logistics, to ensure seamless production operations.
Maintain accurate production records and reports.
Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure timely repairs.
Implement and enforce company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
Lead by example, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement among production staff.
Qualifications Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software applications.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety.
