CDL CLASS A FOOD DELIVERY DRIVER


As a DPI ROUTE DRIVER you will ensure all items / products get delivered to the customer on time and neatly. The Delivery Driver is required to effectively communicate with management while maintaining all Federal and State and D.O.T. regulations and requirements.


Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent.
Class A license.
Clean DMV record.
1-2 years driving experience
Must be able to pass all DOT requirements
Must submit to random drug and alcohol testing as required by the Department of Transportation and Company guidelines.
Must be able to successfully perform on-road driving test.
Ability to work in a fast paced, physically demanding environment. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
Ability to work nights, weekends, and Holidays.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Must have Class A License and 1-2 years of delivery experience
High School Diploma or GED.
Work experience in warehouse preferred 2 to 4 years.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following
Driver must have a sense of urgency.
Ability to read and write English.
Must have a safe minded attitude.
Driver must have ability to perform the following tasks:
Loads and unloads vehicles by hand or by use of hand truck or dolly. Able to push 2 wheel dollies in to store weighing over 75lb at times.
Ability to physically double check pulled orders to assure accuracy prior to making delivery.
Must be able to be courteous to customers while in store properties.
Ability to lift and pull up to 75lb per stop consistently.
Able to keep trailer organized at all times to reduce to the risk of damaged products and the safety of you the employee.
Must dress appropriately for the work environments. Trailers are equipped with frozen and chilled compartments.
Must be able to drive tractor and trailer in a safe and efficient manner in tight delivery areas.
Must be flexible with schedule. base will be in EugeneEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
